Here are the XFI lobes, from this thread.

But if those number are based on GENI core, they will grow when cut on a 55MM core.

…but when you have it CamDoctored the true values maybe something like...

XE-R 224.6/227.4 .582/.590 110.4lsa + .8 cam

This is just an example....

Is there a way to convert the lobes then? I just figured out how to make this work PERFECTLY (looking up the .006 and .200 durations based on .050 duration and lift)!

You'd probably need to contact Comp. I think they grow about 2 degrees. Also, if memory serves me they may be slighly asymetric.

Ok, new version is ready. Enter your cam as directed on the first tab then switch to the tab labeled "DCR." If you have a Comp Cam ground on XE, XE-R, XFI, or LSK lobes, the spreadsheet will automatically lookup the durations for .006 and .200 based on the .050 duration and the lift (intake and exhaust respectively).

Pistons are .007-.008 out of the hole though (We can easily change that ourselves)

Ok, for some reason, I thought that negative deck height was out of the hole. It seems that if I switch it, the SCR is correct. I'll update and re-upload.

I see that if you change the lift only for a given duration @ .050, the calculator changes the duration at .006, which makes sense, it should.
However, if you enter a cam that doesn't correspond to any of the ones listed in the Lobe Source tab, how does it determine the durations @ .050 & .200?
For example I entered this cam 220/224 .557/.575 112 +0. I have no idea what type of lobes they are. Is the DCR that the calculator spits out correct? or does this only work for XE, XE-R, LSK & XFI lobes?

is it possible to get a Futral cam thrown in the mix. Possibly a F14 on a 112+4 by chance?

A negative deck hight is piston out of the hole.

Well, download it and play with it. I think the spreadsheet is setup differently. If you put a deck height of -.008 you get 11.4:1 compression for a stock LS1. If you put a deck height of .008 you get a 11:1 compression.

While technically the terminology may be -.008, I think the spreadsheet requires the positive (unless I'm missing something else).

Ok, apparently Excel was not "guessing" properly when a value was not exact. Now, if you do not put in the exact specs as published by Comp, the values won't come up. If you're wondering why your cam does not come up and you know you have one of the 4 listed grinds, go to the "Lobe Source" tab and find on the table where you lobe is listed (you're probably just off by a few thousandths on the lift).

You will have Less compression with a positive number (in hole) and more with a negative number (out of hole).
