For what reason, are the stockers damaged? Are you relocating the battery? For car audio?

It can be a bit of a pain. I had to replace my positive cable when it melted against my longtubes. Expensive cable! Anyway, you have to get under the car and disconnect the cable from the starter and then take the other wire off of the alternator. I had to unbolt the bracket for the alternator to get at the bolt to remove the cable from the alternator. I actually rerouted the wire that runs to the starter to keep it away from the headers. It's really pretty simple. The biggest aggrevation was getting the wire off of the starter and then unbolting the alternator bracket.
