Gas milage with huge cams...

hey guys i am curious what kind of real city gas mileage you guys see with huge cams. (look in sig)

I am getting horrible mileage...like 11-12 mpg. Any info on ways to get that up a bit...

But i will honestly say i have been driving like an ***...so more proper driving may very well come into a couple of more mpg...

Also i aske din the PCM and tuning section... but what is the norm for AFR during normal everyday cruising...

Yep.. I was getting 14/26 mpg with my heads/cam setup (Dart 225s and F-15)

Now I'm getting around 21/27 and more power

12.9 mpg check this morning on way back from buffalo on thruway but i think mine is cause i have such a high stall on my convertor

I see 12 to 14 mpg city using the G5X3, is that cam big enough?? On the expressway I regularly see 34 + mpg while cruising, and sometimes 36 + mpg.
Normal would probably be 28 to 30 with some playing around and cruising.
Did I answer your question? ? ? I hope so. If I am running hard I mean over 120 I still see around 18 to 21 believe it or not. BTW those readout are usually 2-3 mpg above actual. Test it for yourself and you will see. Just a quick FYI

Same here with the X3, 12 to 14 around town and easy 20+ on the interstate.

I'm getting 14-15 around town, and between 21-28 on the highway according to how much I lean on the go pedal, with G5x3 and stock heads, other mods in sig.
