I just posted a thread with the pics.

To answer your question: springs were fine (Patriot golds) and rockers were also fine.
Had to pull the intake to really see what happened....then the head

I would say your pretty much fucked as far as your motor. I broke a valvespring on my last motor and the number 7 piston just blew up all the way into my intake, and also blew a hole the size of a tennis ball into the cylinder wall,broke the connecting rod too. seems like you werent driving that fast so the damage prolly wont be as bad. good luck getting your next motor.

when we say a valve dropped what exactly do ya mean....what causes this....dont mean to hijack....figured id chime in...thanks
