Bigger valves, larger valve seat needed??

Plain ole stock ls1 valves arent worth much aside from scrap. Hell, I have (2) 5 gallon buckets nearly full.

No, I mean yes, but it will not yeild the correct results. Firstly you should open the throat an extra .020, and cut the top angle wider to accomodate the larger valve. Otherwise you run a risk of not having a great seal. Valve seat cutters are usually accepted at .002 tolerance. .002 would be fine, however now you add an extra .002 to that and can possibly be .004 off. Atleast get a new top angle and widened throat.

Dude, just stating I have some for people who might want to up size thier 5.3 heads. I have some stuff laying around, why not get rid of it. I wasnt asking for the world was I? Holy Crap.
