The last week or so, I've been stocking up on German Castrol. I've accumulated 30 quarts from different AZ's in my area. Well....they've got a deal going on right now that if you make 5 twenty dollar purchases before the end of May, you get a twenty dollar gift card. So that was my goal, to get the gift card. It wasn't very hard, German Castrol isn't exactly cheap. So I've got my gift card in my wallet, and I'm looking through the ads in Sundays paper, and I see that Advanced has Castrol Synthetic on sale for 4.68 a qt. I call my local AZ and ask them if they'll price match. They do, so I went and got back the difference. All said and done, I wound up paying just $4.01 a quart for German Castrol. I love it when a plan comes together!! To sweeten the deal even more, I stumbled onto 9 quarts of the green Castrol!!
