Default cam or heads

I have a fully bolt on (engine wise) 98 c5 m6.. i'm debating on either a cam swap or a head swap... i'm trying to get to mid 400 at the wheels n/a and still keeping normal drivability.

I'm having a hard time picking a cam... and i'm pretty sure i'm gonna end up with some Ls6 heads in the end...what would you do first????

Cam first, then add heads later on. Or if you have the $$ now do both and save yourself some work.

like he said cam first but if you have definate plans of doing heads too, save up and do them both at the same time. then get your tune. If you dont do that, get the cam first.

how much work will i save myself by doing them at the same time? it only took me 15mins per head to get the valve covers off... i haven't spent much time looking into used LS6 heads... how much can i pick them up for? any reason to replace the valves?

Well If I were you i Would do them at the same time so you get it all done at once. I wouldnt wait and do just the cam now because you can get better deals on H/C packages and it makes it a hell of alot easier to work once instead of twice that is so stupied! And get complete heads with everything!!! You will have an easy 420rwhp with that and a exhuast, so you will be fine, And Look into Advanced Induction for a good H/C package fpr the best prices and garenteed performance!

both are needed for mid 4's i would do them at the same time jus tbuy one and save a bit more.. cams are reletively cheep heads cost the most money so if you can get the heads then just wait for the cam and do it right
