Something else is mandatory and should be considered in any cam swap budget without delay is TUNE.
Putting good parts in but skipping on tune is a waste IMO, not to mention potentialy harmful to the motor.
A lot of poeple swap a cam and the tune is neglegted or not budgeted in the swap.
Then I read, "the cam is in, it pulls hard on top, wow!! what a difference, it will be better when I tune it".
Little do they know how much they are hurting that poor LS1 who serves them so faithfully.

Now back to this thread, that cam will put out some good all around numbers.
Congrats.

He'll be getting it tuned right after it goes in by a shop who owns an all-motor 9 second LS1. Jeremy is a good friend of mine and doesn't skimp on his car.

Can't wait for ya to get it put in, bro, that **** will sound wicked and pull even more!

Of course, Dyno tuning was done right after the car was put together.
Car put down 391rwhp/370rwtq with stock MAF, unported TB, and one problem - MAP sensor was not working. I am trying to fix it this weekend and adjust the tuning a bit. I think its not too bad ( I expected lil over 400 ), for a car with 4.10 and 4400 stall 2.5STR. I think i can get to 400 rwhp when Ill get some nice ram air system and bigger TB, give it some more air... it needs it !
