I'm almost positive they can be. Take a look at this post for info on different castings.

Rockers are all the same in the LS1 stuff. Should get them rebuilt though as the stockers like to come apart.

The Curtisbilt rockers are very stout peice and easily adjustable. Although not quite new they have been around for a couple years and working great on many cars. Dyno testing has shown great results. Steel stock style bodys with full roller tips free up some power without flex. A true adjustable rocker that fits under the factory covers.

We will be running a special on them shortly.

The Curtisbilt rockers look exactly like the Comp Pro Mags except for the interlocking shafts. I guess that means you don't need guide plates or hardened Prods with them.

" I guess that means you don't need guide plates or hardened Prods with them."

Wouldn't you use hardened prods if you went this far anyway??

You probably would, but it isn't mandatory like it is when using guide plates as the slots in the guide plates eat away the sides of the non-hardened Prods. The fact that you DO NOT have to use hardened Prods is one of their selling points as the rocker shafts keep the rockers in alignment not the guide plates that are used in the polylock system. The shaft type cost more initially, but you save money by not having to spend extra on hardened Prods. When you stop and think about it the cost comes out about the same since you pay extra for shaft mounts while polylocks are a little cheaper you have the added expense of hardened Prods.

And who wants to go back to oldschool tech with guide plates anyway. The Curtisbilt retail for $795 I am doing a special for $675 if we can get 8 sets sold.
