Default Is a keyed crank OK to use with normal crank pulley?

I have an oppurtunity to get a shortblock with the stock LS1 crank, except the crank was keyed for an ATI supercharger kit. I am not familiar with this process. I have no intention of using an ATI, I just want to put my regular ASP pulley on and use the shortblock. Is there a reason this won't work? Thanks.

you'll be fine with the asp pulley press fit on the snout.

Actually, I would send the ASP to a machine shop and have them mill in a keyway. I know someone who did that and used my ATI pin kit to put a pin in the crank snout. Milling operation should be cheap. Then you can use the ARP crank bolt, torque to 190 lb-ft with ARP lube on it. Easy on, easy off later and it won't come out.
