I was gunna change the springs on my vette today but I noticed that the retainers and locks are bigger on my old springs. The old locks won't fit inside the new retainers, and I'm not sure that stock locks would work. They look different than a stock valve/lock...the problem is I don't know what they are or where to get them.

The springs came with the heads from ARE a couple years ago. I was planning on replacing them with PRC dual gold's. I don't have a picture as the shop is an hour drive from my home and I didn't bring a camera. Any ideas until I can snap a few pics.

Another problem I noticed is that it looks like every one of the retainers on the intake springs has been dented/gouged by the rocker arm...why would that happen?
