What might cause low torque?

Default What might cause low torque?

Well, just got off the dyno and I laid down 421HP and 354TQ.. Why torque so low?

Unless a mechanical issue, the EVO is too early BBDC wise

Did you go to hitech for the dyno?

that seems very low,i would think you should be in the 38x range even with that stick.what is your afr and timing at peak torque ?it may be in the tune.

Yea, I had them do a full tune..

How good are you tuning surging and idle issues?

Its posted in the dyno section... Alot of guys are blaming the verter for the low TQ numbers.
