does any1 know where the crank shaft position sensor is located.
i know it is near the starter.
there is a sensor right under the starter going into the oil pan but it may be the oil sensor.
this sensor goes every year.
i have had it replaced about 4 times.
figured i'd try for myself this time if i could.

Yes, it's right over top of the starter on the block, not underneath on the oil pan. Not sure but I think you're going to have to remove the starter to get it out if you need to. It's reall easy though. Good luck!

yes you need to take the bolts out of the starter and let it hang to get to the crank sensor.

also to take the starter out is it just those two bolts going upward from the bottom?

Yep, just one 10mm bolt that holds it in. The two bolts go in from the bottom and that's all that's needed. Just be carefull of the wires going to the starter selonoid and not to tear them.
