If there came a point in which this manifold was not fitting or it was being a pain, I would look in that direction, but for now, I believe it's going to be the best thing for this application.

Guys, the pics still work for me. Not sure why you can't see them????

I'm interested to see how this car drives with that intake. Has anybody ever driven a car on the street with ITBs? I haven't. Tip-in has got to be atrocious.

I was told I may need some kind of dampner in the throttle linkage. They told me to drive it first and see what I thought. If it was to bad, I could go with the dampner to help soften the effects.

Great set-up, I'm sure you will be very pleased. Let me know what the tip-in will be like and please do everyone a favor, put some braided fuel lines on that 4000 dollar intake.

Fuel system is already done. Yes, it's braided.

Are all these parts in your kitchen? Looks like someone knows where to spend his money. My wife thinks otherwise though.

Looks like a killer setup in the making. Very jelous here.

Have you found filters yet? Couldn't you just use eight individual motorcycle air filters like those offered by K&N and such?

That was the plan, individual filters, but, I'm gunna see what it looks like when it gets in the car. If there is room to make a box, I'm gunna try it in order to keep the power band from being "2 strokeish".

I hate to say this but go look at some of the high hp honda guys that stay n/a. They have ITBs and love em. Some just run them without filters and some put small K&Ns on them and have no problems. I've ridden in and drove my buddies S2K that has ITBs on it and the sound was wicked cool and the power was outrageous to before. The powerband just was unbelieveable.

You might be able to get an oval filter setup to work, like they use on sprint cars. That would give you plenty of "dead-air" volume in the filter I would think. A baseplate for the filter could be easily whipped up too.

You can always tell when somone loves his car more than his wife. He brings his new motor into the kitchen and makes her sleep out in the garage.

Well see how the power looks with just the filters before I go fabbing up boxes. With the graphs I have of boxes vs no filters. the power w/ filters is down, but a much smoother graph. I'd like to have a large enough plenum to not cause a power loss, but I don't think that will be feasable under the F-body hood.

Haah! Freakin broke right now. Obviouslly the big stuff is here, but with expensive big things, comes expensive small things. All that said, I still have $2-$3k left before this thing would truly be "complete". I finally got the wife to go back to work, so hopefully I can get it knocked out when the extra income hits. Raising a family, a car, and a fishing habit on a single income gets tough sometimes.
