Hypothetically speaking if i were to replace my ls1 in my 98 trans am, due to the high milage that i'm racking up...which engine should i go for..or should i just replace it with another ls1?? mainly looking for more power..and a good engine to mod like the ls1.. it will be for weekend driving and drag racing

I would probably go with another ls1 or maybe even an ls6. They would be the easiest swap.

 

Im thinking of doing an LS2 in mine....

 

LS2, LQ4/LQ9, LS7 Warhawk....Just for some more ideas to add to the pile.

 

im pretty sure im going with a 370

 

LS7 all the way. Shops are pulling 620rwhp from them N/A

 

if a small budget i would just forge ,h/c and give it some go juice,alittle more money put a sc or turbo on it,or go for broke and get a warhawk 427 + with an f1.
