just FYI,

we saw a car recently that had similar problems, it turns out that there was NO WHERE near enough breathing for the heads. Compression and leakdown was very very very good.

Just put some -10 fittings on the cam covers, bored out the holes for the breather baffles, ran a catch can and the entire PCV to atmosphere.. and presto, no problems.

p.s. you can verify absolutely that this is yor problem by putting a pressure gauge on the cam cover or oil filler cap. If it reads anything over ambient pressure when you're on it, this is surely your problem *if* anf *only if* you dont have bottom end or sealing issues...
