I'd really say alot of it is in the tune. I was talking to Jason at TR, and his red car @470rwhp still got an amazing 31 mpg on the highway. That was with atleast 4.10/1 gears if not more.

Find a good tuner after your cam goes in.

Thanks guys, I'm looking at the F10 and a 3400 stall right now. Looks like a promising cam

Keep the info coming!

The stall will kill your gas milage.

Ditto that.

More of a factor than anything else on an automatic; sorry.

I got better gas mileage than stock when I went to a TR 224 cam with my tuning.

On the set-up you see in my sig now with the MS3 cam I get over 30 on the highway but 12 to 13 city (fixing a Kooks bad quality fitment issue that's causing pcm to dump fuel at lights ) . . . I like to drive at 3K rpm's in town . . . I'm a spirited driver

So between a mild stall (3400?) and a mild cam (I'm looking at the F10) I'll probably be looking at something like 15mpg city and 20 maybe hwy?

Sound reasonable ?
