LS Crate motors
I have been doing some research on LS crate motors for a Cobra project that I am going to build (won’t that tick off the hardcore Ford folks), but I don’t see some motors that were available a short time ago. Did GMPP discontinue the LS2 crate motor (PN 12499750), or the LS1 crate with ECU etc (25534322). I have been searching SDPC, Jegs, and Summit and don’t see them available.
Thanks and sorry for the noob question.

FYI, I'm putting an LSx into a Mercedes and I'm planning on doing something with the engine covers so they have a Mercedes logo or text on them, just to confuse the lookers.
If Ford made an engine as light as an LSx with anything close to the HP, then there might be something to be said for not using the Chevy engine, but there is nothing better out there. Go for it!
