Why is it that.....
Why is it that..... A friend of mine who has a 05 GT with Magnaflow cat and cold air's car feels so much weaker than mine. His is a manual, motor is broken in and is a decent driver. I have minimum mods and my car just pulls so much harder. I didn't want to disappoint him so i kept quiet. Are the LS1's that underated or are the 05 GT's slow?

Yeah, I test drove one at a dealership. It isn't terribly weak, but it felt like the LS1 will throw you back in the seat from a dead stop, and the GT felt like it didn't really start to make power until it was over 2000 RPM's.
At least they fixed the friggin' shifter on the manuals. I could never get used to the ones that had the manual shifter cocked at an angle toward the driver.
