i am buying a SLP 402 Iron block High compression short block..going w/ the new magic stick 4 cam by ThunderRacing..and am having my stock LS1 heads ported and polished w/ a 3angle valve job..i already have hte LS6 oil pump and the comp cam beehive springs w/ the SLP Dbl roller timing chain cover..also 80 Mm BBK TB and an LS6 intake..any idea of what kind of power i should make in a 99 M6 F body?

please any help would be a greatly appreciated..

with a stock LS1 and a lunati cam w/ the TB and heddars alone i made 385 hp and 395 TQ but w/ this new set up i am not really sure what to expect..

You upgrading your fuel system? That setup wpould be close to 500HP+ or more with the right tune and enough fuel. But the stock fuel system will not keep up.

Its a Texas Speed camshaft. I would also switch to a 90/90 or a Vic Jr. intake setup if I were you. I'm sure if you searched around you could find some pretty cheap 6.0L heads to have ported as well, you could probably gain a bit of power over the LS1 heads. That's just my opinion, I've never built a 408 so take it with a grain of salt. Have at it and have fun!
