Dart 205s would be a great choice, and they're a good bit cheaper than the AFR heads. You should expect over 400rwhp from the 224 cam and a set of Darts. You'd have a killer torque curve.

there was a guy who put down 408rwhp i believe with afr 205 and a 224 cam. and like what everybody else says, if you can get 400rwhp on an A4..that car is a beast..

with a smaller cam like that, I would think a smaller runner size would be very complimentary.

I'm going with the TSP ls6 heads/valve job, new 918's and having the heads milled. Probably not the best for power but should get 90% of the gains n/a that I would get with the afr's.

I have budget Patriot's and they make ok power for the money but I would do Dart or AFR any day of the week over anything else. Get the DCR in the right range, have the heads milled for better SCR and enjoy the power. Don't skimp on heads!!!!!!!

yeah i def. would not skimp on heads. From what ive read the Dart 205 or AFR 205 would be a great choice. I assume you have headers correct??

shoot for 8.5 DCR and you'll have 400 horses and then some. This should bo accomplished by both thinner gaskets and milling.

What about a set of ETP 215s? I always see people post about Darts and AFRs and they leave them out. TEA also has some Trickflow heads on a 205 runner that flow some pretty crazy numbers as well.

224/228, AFR 205's, stick car with 4.10 rear gear gives me about 400 rwhp. with stock intake and TB. 1st and 2nd gear can produce lots of tire smoke even with the TC on. LS6 intake would add approx 8-10 more hp.
Just what the doctor ordered for my tastes.

AFR or Dart 205's milled will be best for that cam.
