Depends, it’s all relative.

Cams are usually around 400 bucks, and the required components could run you another 400 depending on what you are looking for.

Unless you install it your self, the install costs for cam only can range from 400 to 700 bucks depending on the shop you go to.

So anywhere from 800 to 2500, to answer your question.

depends on the cam you get.if you change the springs you might as well do the pushrods to.for new stuff I would say 700 to 1100 just depends.you can catch some good deals on here and do it for alot less.

I just did it and with all the shipping, mail order tune, cam, PRC springs, PR's, oil pump, timing chain and all the gaskets i needed, the final price was around 1400. I did all the work myself at night after work, took a few days but it makes ya feel good knowing you did it all yourself.

I agree around 1500.
400 cam
120 pushrods
150 ported oil pump
50-220 for timing chain ls2 or doubble roller
50 for gaskets
500 for tune
250 or so for a PRC/Patroit gold spring kit

shipping????

We charge 850 for a cam and spring install, or 650 for just the cam itsself if you already have springs.
So you could easily go over 2000 if you have a shop install all the parts.

it would depend on if your motor is still in the car or not. its like night and day installing a cam with the motor out or in.

Dang I'm glad I live where i live because my shop (a very repuitable shop) only quoted me 450 for cam and spring install(includes timign chain, gaskets and such), then another 300 for a tune. So i guess location has everything to do with it. with tax it will come out to be around 800 and some for everything
