200 141 114
300 202 158
400 255 197
500 293 214
600 313 227
28inches H20
3.9 inch bore.
I calculated
11.1183 CR and 8.61295 DCR
Quench @ .032
Motor will be backed up by 4L80E/3200 Stall/9” /w 4.56 Gears.
Looking for 400rwhp @ 6200 rpm.
Am I close to my mark or do I need to re-think my setup?
I'm not 100% sure on the cam. I was looking smaller but I think the F13 should be nice in a 6.0L and I'm close to Futral so hopefully I can get them to tune it.
Should I pick a cam with a bigger split to help the exhaust flow?
I have everything except cam and head gaskets.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks
I'd like to shift at 6200 or below.
400rwhp being my hp power goal and 6200 being the highest I would want to spin the motor.
This is going in a 62 Chevy II.
Should be about 3000lbs or less.
The car will be more of a weekend playtoy.
It will see a few trips to the track just for fun, but nothing serious.
I'd like to run some high 11's/ low 12's and I'd be happy.

How much of a difference is the 6.0L going to be?
As long as I get the compression up to be the same I should make the same or more power correct?
Bigger bore and a few more (18) cubic inches can't be a bad thing...
