Default will ls7 springs work?

does anyone know if ls7 valve springs will work in a ls1? the lift of the cam i'm going to run is just shy of the stock ls7 lift so if they will work it will save me a little money.

No, the LS7 spring set up at least .100" taller than a LS1 spring. If your drop it down to LS1 spring height, you may encroch on the springs coil bind limitation.

I called gm techline and they said physically these springs should work on a cam with less than 600 lift but has anyone tried this yet in an ls1?
