Which Pulley Puller?

I am looking to buy a crank pulley puller but do not want to spend to much...

Here is one I found at sears:

Would this work?

I also heard pep biys had a good one... anyone have a price or link?

Another option I have is just to rent... How much does it cost to rent one? I figured it might be more effective just to buy one... (Especially Since I am not puttting the pulley back on the same day I am taking it off....)

That one should work OK, but you don't use it to re-install the pulley.

Yah, I know...

I just want to have it handy incase there was some reason I had to take it back off again.

Anyone know how much it costs to rent?

Renting shouldn't cost you anything. "renting" from the auto parts store means you buy their used tool and they refund you the money when you return it.

FWIW...I found it MUCH MUCH easier to use a 2 arm pulley puller as apposed to a 3 arm pulley puller. I got mine at a local AdvanceAuto place. I couldn't get all the 3 arms to secure on the crank pulley, cause I only have two

wow, I just assumed it would cost money!

Okay, on the stock crank pulley, there are three openings in it, for three arms on a pulley puller, and if you put th em in and turn them clockwise, they lock in, making it simple as they come. Aftermarket pulleys coming off is a different story. Autozone for 40 bucks you can rent the pulley puller with full refund upon return. DId it in a couple hours, less if it hadn't started raining while i was in my driveway. Two jack stands, a breaker bar, 24mm socket or 15/16. and a rubber mallet to put the new one on! Also, if you undo the fan plugs and take the air filter housing off, you can drop the fans for tons of room
