Fly cutting pistons.....
LG has the tool I am going to need to do the job and speaking with the gentleman there........ it is a piece of cake. Put a power drill on thier moke-up head that has the cutting tool for 10 seconds per cylinder and mic them to spec. Can anyone verfy that this is truly or close to what it is............is it a piece of cake???
Any useful advise you could offer to someone who barely cuts the cheese much less pistons on a $50K car. I would greatly appreciate it because to be honest with each of you, I could break an anvil.
Thanks for your help and your time.
God Bless
If you don't trust yourself to do it, I would definately pay someone to do it. You don't want to **** up your pistons.
It's not hard, just time consuming. Get yourself a good drill and the smallest right angle drill adapter you can find because getting at the 2 back cylinders on the passenger side is a bitch. Cut a little deeper for future cam swaps, you don't won't to have to do this chore twice.
