Default Will it run ?????

Im having my motor built right now. It should be bone in 2 weeks. This is what I had done... LS6 block Std bore, 3.900 crank (374 ci.) M2 Race LS6 ported heads and a Comp cams XER273 cam, lifters, pushrods and rockers. Compression will bee no more than 10.5:1. (we havent seen where its at yet).

Will my car run ok on the stock computer or do I need to tune right away. Also should I get larger Injectors?

It will have a Supermaxx headers and a LS6 Intake and T body.

Thanks for the help.

How about an air dyno number? Im thinking 450 rwhp?????

You need to tune right away and yes you need injectors. What I would do is get a base tune and break it in on that then do a dyno tune.
28.8 injectors are maxed at those HP levels during WOT.

Whats the best way to get a base tune?

There is a local guy that tunes. Will he be able to do a safe base tune?

Or should I purchase a handheld tuner?

I would contact LS1 Speed (Speed inc) in Chicago area. You can work a deal with them on a mail tune, followed by dyno tune later. They have 30lbs SVO injectors too if you do not plan on nitrous, otherwise get 42lbs.
