due to the choices you gave I voted MS3. I've also heard some bad things about the waiting period from FMS. I just ordered my Ms4 from TSP on the 4th and I got my tracking number from ups at 4:30 on the 5th and since I live in oklahoma it will be at my door today.

I run the MS3, so that is what I would recommend, just get a good tune.

Here's my vote:
NONE OF THE ABOVE

I had the TRak cam, as you know and maybe it's just that I'm paranoid but those Isky LS-K lobes worry me. I don't like the idea of having .649" lift beating up my valvetrain (rated at .650" lift). I've been doing tons of research lately and looking into cam specs beyond just the duration @ .050" and lift. For a streetable, and most importantly, easily tuneable cam, I'd recommend sticking to FMS/Cam Motion lobes or Comp XE-R lobes. The FM13 is a Cam Motion grind, and the MS3 is a Comp grind, but neither are my choice. I have to agree with SVT THIS, about the G5X4. In terms of size, it's damn close to the MS3 in terms of size, but seems to dyno better and respond better at the track. It should idle about the same, and, having a lower LSA, it's actually a better grind for our motors, which ideally need a 110 or 111 LSA. I've seen an easy 430rwhp cam only with the X4, and a consistent 10rwhp/10rwtq throughout the curve over the G5X3, and idles just as well. You have a 6-speed with gears, which would make this cam perfect for your car. I would go with the X4 myself, but I don't want to change stall speeds. I do stand behind it 100% though. I just ordered a similar, slightly smaller, custom grind, a 234/242 on a 110 LSA. So it's basically a few degrees smaller than the X4 to match my setup. PM me, because if you want I can get you a brand new G5X4 for cheaper than LG can get it to you. IMO, it may be the perfect LS1 cam.

Well if you did go with the MS3, you would more than likely get it within 2 days since you also live in Texas. Unfortunately, you have to pay taxes on it, though I've heard plenty of awesome things about the MS3, and I have been considering getting it for myself actually. I have since changed my mind, and will be going with the Torquer V.2 to help out a little with the daily-driving along with get some very decent #'s. You should check into it, pretty gnarly cam

i went witht he ms3 but i voted for the fm13. I really was nto very happy with the way tsp treated me. They sent me there dart heads and they did not clear iwith my ms3 (which they sadi they would) then i sent them back kept callin and callin finally sadi i got a bad set of heads. 2-3 weeks and no answer and no new heads at my door. Called again and was told there not goin to work adn they will send me LS6's so fially 4-5 weeks later i got my heads. I was told they would refund my money.... i paid 1600 for the darts and bought LS6 that were on sale for 899 then got dual valve sprigns and was told i am gettin 100$ back? i still have not seen it on my credit card... adn i ahve called and asked and was told they refunded it. After reading all this all i have to say is i would try another company if i had to do it again

Thanks everybody with all the help. I got a killer deal on a FM13 so I went ahead and bought it. I agree with 8banger though. The X3 and X4 cams are awsome. My buddy just dynoed his car at 422 rwhp and 392 trq with the X3, and thats with stock heads! We are all very pleased with the numbers.

We'll see what my beast puts down. I went with a thinner head gasket, effectively making my SCR 10.4:1, so that should help. I do have an A4 though and it's going to be dynotuned on a Mustang dyno, so hopefully I can see 400rwhp...

MS3 Ihave it hear and with a good tune it is plenty streetable and my buddy has a car with same mods and an fm14 and always sees my tail lights he wants to get the ms 3 or 4 now. everybody has there own opinion the best advise I ever got when I was shoppping was find someone with that cam and go for a ride and see how it acts. Good thing too cause my other buddy has a 224-224-600-600 cam and I was gonna get a 224 or 228 cam but I wasnt impressed by the ride felt like my bolt on 98 with 410's would have got him. I luv my MS3
