Default Head gaskets question: graphite vs MLS

Can I use the '02-04 LS1 MLS (Multi-Layered Steel) head gaskets for an LS1 block with 5.3L heads, as opposed to the '98-01 graphite ones? I might be able to get them in faster, and I THINK they're better quality, but I want to make sure. Somebody lemme know ASAP so I can let the company know that they're okay to send them to me. Thanks!

someone told me to use graphite on the 5.3 heads, but that may be dependant on year also. I was gonna use MLS gasket until I was told otherwise.

ALSO, what would be the difference in compression with either gasket? I would like to know. Would there be a differnce of up to 1point, or would there be very little?

I run GM MLS gasket in my truck, .010 over LS1 block, stock 5.3 heads. 30K+ miles and counting, 12psi, pump gas, daily driven.
