Anyone on the board have an engine built by Speed Inc? They are semi-local, and I hear good things about them for the most part. I want to FINALLY get a stroker and they have some good packages. What kind of numbers are you putting down, what is your combo (heads/cam, etc), were they helpful in getting you set, what was the turnaround time.
I also think I want a TH400, any recommendations local to IL

Tom and Larry built my car from day one, you can't go wrong 
To answer your q's
408ci Iron block put down 479rwhp though their TH400 (not sure who builds the trans or motors or if they do them in house)
heads - RGR custom
Cam - S1
Extremely helpful - before, during, after, today!
Turnaround - who cares, you want it done right
They did my Th400 as well
I have nitrous, only sprayed less than 5-6 times, I do sorta baby the engine. Really just a weekend toy nowadays, but DIEING to get to the track
Call them, they will work out a package for you.
