Default Triple Springs

I did some searchign and could not find any. Who makes triple springs? I'm looking at putting an ms4 in my hawk with 1.8 rockers which put the intake lift to .678 and the exhaust at .645. I haven't seen double springs rated to handle that lift. If you have seen please direct me to such springs. This way I know where to look after I get brakes on the hawk.

Comp Cams makes a set. The innermost spring is hardly even considered a "spring". I think that might be excessive though, don't you think? Why are you going with 1.8 on that cam anyway? By the looks of it you don't even have a decent set of heads. I would worry more about that right now.

There might be a way to shim a .650 max lift spring, or they could be rated higher. Basically you are going to pay close to $500 for a set of springs that you are not really needing. They are designed mainly for a big block application.

But if you insist....here is the part number: COM 26082-16

Why would you want 1.8 rockers with that cam?

Not knowing much of anything about what you have in mind I can't help but recommend going with the MS4 and stock ratio rockers matched to either PRC or Comp 921 dual springs.

1.8 on that cam is inviting nothing but trouble. Stay with the stock ratio and I concur with PRC/Patriot or Comp 921 duals.

1.8 rocker with that cam... = mr valve meets mr piston, in a not so pretty way.

What you are trying to accomplish, other then destroying your motor with a setup like that, is unknown to probably everyone on this board, yourself included.

Like the others, i think you should stick with stock ratio rockers. If you insist though, youll probably have to mill out the valve spring seats to accomodate oversize coils. Youll find a bunch of SBC springs that can be shimmed for a 1.8 install height and a lift of .700+. Im sure youll find more dual could than triples though. Dont expect to find a triple spring or even a dual spring that will work the will fit as a drop in replacement though.

Man, I was nervous trying to find a decent set of springs to accomodate my .641/.646 lift cam. I chose the Patriot Golds. Work flawlessly and haven't had any problems yet.

The MS4 uses the new LSK lobes to get those kind of lift numbers I'm pretty sure (same lobes on my cam). I was under the impression that a higher rocker ratio than stock would accelerate the valves too quickly for most springsets, not to mention the extra lift. You'll more than likely need better lifters at that point as well.

Go with a set of cheapie $255 Patriot Gold springs and stock rockers and save yourself lots of money and headache.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm up in the air on the 1.8s it was just something I thought about playing with. I'll most likely leave stock ratio in and put in a good set of duals. I do hear you slidewayz28 I did take that into consideration. I have every original part from the car. So i can put it back to stock if I decide to do so. Thanks for the input guys much appreciated.
