Back when I bought my car over 2 years ago, Patriot had ported LS1 heads assembled for $990. I thought that was a good deal then. Now they just offered ported LS6's for the price of a ported set of Vortec heads.
As cheap as some of these factory castings are now, I just may end up going this route instead of AFR's when I get around to building my car up. These deals are incredible.

The sale price was $1195.00 plus shipping. There is no extra extra charge for milling. You can 11-1 and still be safe on 93 octane. The regular price on these will be $1295.00. This sale did end Monday.

Just out of curiosity what would you have to mill these heads too like a 59 cc??? and how much more do the 2.02 valves flow than the 2.00 because it says on the website the 2.00 flow 309 at.600. Im eventually going to purchase a pair im just trying to get all my facts straight and would you suggest running a different sized push rod if i mill?

I recently bought a set of brand new 243 casting assembled heads. The springs are said to be factory ls2 but they are not yellow. they appear to have a purple stripe. Can someone tell me which springs I have?
Gunnar?
Thanks,
Ray
