Default Help Picking Heads

Well ive looked around for a while and i think im gonna end up going with TSP's 233/239 cam. Now, anybody know a good matching set of heads to go with, preferably on the budget end as i am still in college , lol

Texas Speed has a set of LS6 Stage 1, or a Stage 2.5 both are pretty inexpensive. I'm waiting on my stage 2.5 heads, I'll let you know what I think when I get them and get me vette tuned.

For budget heads you can go with TSP, TEA, Patriot, or Livernois. Do a search on budget heads.

Have you purchased that cam yet? I know TSP released a high lift cam on LSK lobes in the 23x/23x range a while back that matched their PRC LS6 heads with a 59cc mill on them and a .040 gasket. I never saw any more info on it but you could give them a call. For your budget, your best bet will be the LS6 heads from TSP. You could probably pick up around 20-30 more hp with them. For the same price you could spray a 150 shot.

I'm considering going with a cam with similar numbers. Anyone seen or have a dyno graph of this one?

Definately look into the Precision Race Components Street LS6 Stg1 head. They've been making really good numbers all over the site lately & are very hard to beat @999.99! The Stg2 heads are nice also, but for the money honestly I think the Street LS6 heads are really hard to beat. I'd just about run that head over heads costing well over double the price!! Look for them on my heads cam car asap!!

Patriot LS6 user here - if I were to do it again I'd go PRC Street w/ comp valve job - they just seem to be making a couple more ponies
