Default What's an ideal setup?

I'm wanting to know what is an ideal setup as far as internals go. Let me know what brands you would go with for each internal item and why. Make sure to match heads and cam together and such. Don't just pick the highest flowing heads and the biggest cam possible. Make sure everything works with each other and be specific as possible (i.e. part numbers, brands, ratios/plates, etc). Maybe make one set of each (cam, heads, lifters, pistons, rods, rockers, timing chains, springs, etc.) for a person who has money to spend and another set for a person who doesn't quite have money to spend. Maybe we can make a sticky out of this to help other newbies out when they visit the internal section of what they might want out of their car.

Ideal setup for a person with money:
Cam:
Heads:
Lifters:
Pistons:
Pushrods:
Rocker Arms:
Timing Chain:
Valvesprings/Locks/Retainers:

Ideal setup for the poor college kid:
Cam:
Heads:
Lifters:
Pistons:
Pushrods:
Rocker Arms:
Timing Chain:
Valvesprings/Locks/Retainers:

They are gonna cost relatively the same price, just depending on the heads will determine most of the cost.

I understand that cam and heads may vary depending upon whether the person wants a cam with a stock idle or a mild cam with somewhat of a lope or a big cam with a really choppy lope. This would determine what kind of heads to match with what type of cam the person is looking for. I didn't think of it like that.

Keep them coming guys. Maybe just reply with what setup you have.

The new PRC/Edelbrock Terminators with the MS4 looks like a relatively cheap combo that can put out huge numbers with a FAST 90/90 and all the bolt-ons.

I'm sorry but I highly doubt that CNC LS6 heads (TSP or Patriot) are the right heads for a person with money. They are a good budget head but someone without a budget should be looking into AFR, ETP or TEA Trickflow heads. That is just my $.02

Tune
Exhaust
Intake
etc...
