Just looking for some feedback on my choice of cams. Here is what the shop picked out for me. 264 272 695 680 112 with 4* adv. This will be in a street/strip 408, T400, Vic Jr intake with 200-300 shot of nitrous. I know very little about cams and just looking to see what you guys think.

Solid rollers and lifters are the most fun to have driven everyday. More adjustments than a Tax form in April!

The Seating point on a Hyd. Roller is .006" at the cam.
The Seating point on a Sollid Roller is .010"-.020" at the cam(Hot Lash divided by the rocker ratio).
The distance from the seating point to .050" is shorter on the Solid Roller, making the ,050" #'s bigger then the same seat duration Hyd. Roller.

To much cam unless you have a minimum of 12 to 1 CR and dont care about how the engine runs at cruising type RPM's (surging and other BS)....
Why obliterate the drivability when your going to spray all that nitrous anyway....like another 20-30 HP will make a difference at that point. I would go some 10 degrees smaller for a better all around combo, and even that is fairly healthy but not as crazy as your initial specs obviously.
Good luck...
