Default Help quick!!!

There is a small hose that is located behind my throttle body about 2 inches and it runs to the rear of the engine i think. It has caved in and has a hole in it, does anyone have a part number? It is making my service engine soon light come on.

Yes,

Two local guys had the exact same problem. Just got to the auto parts store and get the apporpraite sized heater hose to replace it. It seems the rubber compund GM used for that section of hose is prone to warp and posibly crack from the heat of the engine over time. some heater hose will fix the problem.

If you are facing the car looking under the hood it is on the left and side. The piece that collapsed is maybe 3 inches long and about 1/2 inch in diameter.

well,

There will be a fat part, which is supposed to house your PCV valve. Is it still located in there? have you modified your PCV in the past?

Take it off, goto a parts store and they can match you up a hose. Its to the PCV valve. You will have to get the light reset also.

I have not modified the pcv. I'm overseas and have to order the part so the local part store is out. I'm surrounded by Renalts and Peuogots!
