Default Comp R lifters......

Can these be used with stock rockers, or do you have to have adjustable rockers for those lifters. I had comp oem replacement lifters in my motor and i guess they werent good enough. i am turning my motor over 7k, and want a lifter that i can count on, but i dont want to spend $400 bucks when i could spend around $200 for these. i know you get what you pay for, but i cant pull that at this moment. been a little short since i built the damn motor in the first place.

Yes you can run stock rocker's.Just need to adjust pushrod length for the correct preload on the lifter. I found .004 to .006 preload makes them quiet.

Just wondering, could I ask, what you meant when you said the eom replacement comp's weren't good enough? Did they bust up or what?
