Default highest compression daily driver?

who here has high compression LSx engines they daily drive? post static compression ratio, dynamic if you know it, where the car is driven(ie Houston, Seattle, Detroit, etc.), timing, and hp/tq numbers

11.75 SCR and 8.65 DCR on 94 octane in Summer triple digit heat. TR6 and .040 quench
No issues.

The SCR is not as relative as the DCR. Also proper plugs and quench will go a long way to facilitate high SCR combos.

Glad to hear you guys aren't having issues. After some help from the forum I found out mine's going to be 11.56/8.66. I thought it may have been a little high for the street.

Well i started out running tr6 on the street and 8's at the track but i got tired of changing them and left the 8's in and after about 3000 miles and not fouling one i said what the hell is it hurting other than maybee alittle NA power but i run on the bottle 95% of the time (250-350 of it)

Displacement plays into this too. What size motor is everyone talking about?

Now I know typically a larger cube engine will usuallyhave a bigger cam in it, which usually drops DCR. This is why you can see such high SCRs in big cube motors.

Is the drivability strictly dictated by DCR, or do the added cubes play into it? For instance would a 346 and a 402 run equally well if they were both cammed for 8.5 DCR? Assuming that heads are scaled accordingly and all else is equal.

~12.33:1 SCR | ~8.75:1 DCR | LS2 Engine | .037" - .038" quench | 93 octane | Runs in FL | TR6 Plugs | Numbers in Sig | I think I am running 27* of timing | Car is daily driven.
