Default need help

After i made the first pass in my 99 Z28 it blew oil all over the intake. I started looking where it was coming from, it blew the driverside valve cover gasket out. I am new to the ls1's. The motor is new with 2,000 miles on it 382ci 10.8cr I shifted about 6,000 rpms. I have seen post about deleting the stock pcv and just run breather on the valve covers. would this take care of the problem?

what do you think?

Sounds like a blowby issue with the pistons/rings. If there is enough pressure to actually blow out the valve cover gasket, you got problems. The breathers will prevent the gasket from blowing out, but oil will exit the breathers instead. You need to take it back to who did the work, tell them what happened.
