how about these specs for a custom cam...
i was playing around with the VE calculator and came up with this small cam for a DD,346CI motor. cam gurus, tell me what you think. XER lobe on the int.,XE lobe on the exh.
220/220 .581/.564
113 LSA 111 ICL
-6* overlap
cam should have a broad power band, peak around 6000rpms,and a smooth idle. any thoughts?

Thats a pretty small cam and I can't expect you would see much power increase over the cam in your sig. Unless you are just experimenting for fun I feel you would be disapointed unless you went with something bigger.

yeah,i was just playing around after looking at some dyno runs with smallish cams.for somebody that wanted to go with a small cam for a street/strip application,i would think it would be a good compromise between peak numbers and area under the curve...
