The dyno numbers posted for the Thunder cam 224 and the MTI X1 cam both look good....if you want 10ish more rwhp and will give up some driveability, then go with a 230 thunder or r1 mti.

I SAY THE MTI R1 cam all day! Look at their website for exact specs. This would be a great choice of cam imho for a 382 stroker.

I like the GTP #6 cam. It's what I have in my new stroker (LT1) and it seems to be fairly agressive yet it is my daily driver. Here are the specs - Duration is 234/242, Lift is 568/592 on a 114 LSA straight up. Lots of tuning needed to give it some manners but it seems to have some *****. I'll post more when she's fully broken in and I have her dynoed.

Can anyone post RWHP & track results with the R1 in a stroker? It looks alot like the cam I have been running in the 346.

ls1 and LT1 cam specs are completely different.

I had a 224/224 .539 114lsa in my stroker, it put down 448rwhp and 439rwtq. It was a very tame cam.
now I have a 236/232 .602/.575 112lsa putting out 457rwhp 448rwtq without loosing anything down low. the car has a great idle and just the right amount of lope. my car has a ton of low end torque!!!

this is also with pretty mild heads flowing around 280ish. I've got all the bolt on's too.

If you want something just for the track definately go bigger than mine. like a 242/236 or something like that <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> with around 600 lift.

A 500 figure with the cam is pretty typical for 6-speed 422s. I would guess about 465 or so with the 382 might be good ball park numbers provided the head work is good.
