GM Performance parts announcement?
I don't have all the details with me, but:
6.0L truck heads for the LS1 fully assembled - $750. They flow 330CFMs!!!!
LS6 "type" inake (much better than LS1) ready to bolt on to the LS1 (fuel rails, coolant lines, etc) with a 90mm TB - $475.
Anybody else come across this?? I would say that between this, a nice cam, long tubes and a tune, bye-bye modded Cobras, LS2s, and BPU TT Supras!!
Then, throw on a 100 shot...bye-bye LS7!
This is exciting...for $2,500, your screaming down the track!!...probably low 12s on street tires would be my guess.
Im very interested in an ls6 intake with a 90mm TB. That would be very cool.
The L92 heads and then they're offering the matching intake to go with it and the TB for $475. I guess it's like a package they're putting together for pretty cheap. I need to find that article!
Matching intake, 36 lb hour injectors, fuel rails and 90mm TB assembled $475

They say it's for the LS1 engine.

so another words you will have to fly cut, port match and check everything twice. meh... nothing out of the ordinary.

This looks like it would be an excellent choice for heads and intake on a 402 stroker motor or even a stock LS2 motor. ut from all ive read, it dosnt look to be compatible with stock bore ls1's or ls1/ls6 intakes/heads.

Throw another $600 for a cam and valvetrain upgrades...some long tubes and a tune...that should put you well into the "mid" 400sRWHP. On a good set of tires, you're probably looking at low 12s if not very high 11s. I'm guessing of course,... but to me, that's screaming down the track seeing as how my best 1/8th mile time was a 9.014 with overinflated tires
