cam suggestions
cam suggestions im looking for a cam for my almost dd TA. the car has an auto and im looking for a cam with real good low and mid range power and i plan on spraying a two stage set up to handle the high rpm stuff.
the car has a zo6 intake, ported stock heads, and ported TB, pulley, and coated LT's with no cats and i plan on putting in an elec. cutout and trans cooler, with a TC to follow after the cam install.
i would like to get a cam with a high lsa so it doesnt lope to much and be really civilized in everyday driving but suprise the hell out of people when my quiet TA(no ram air hood, & 16' wheels) blows them away at a stop light.

You might check out Comps 224/230 .581/.592 114 LSA. Actually I think the grind # is XER273HR-14. Google it. It isnt the best N/A only cam. But when you spray it really works well. Just a suggestion.
i dont plan on spraying all that often. maybe 6-8 bottles a season. i guess what im looking for is a good cam and torque converter package for the street.
i had a 228 232xer in my 6speed car and dont think i would want that cam in my auto TA. that cam really didnt come alive till about 3500rpm and i want the power band to start alot sooner.
