I have mine installed with mail order tune from TSP and poly mounts and there is some/minimal vibration inside at idle once the motor has warmed up.

I think you may be disappointed in the dyno results without all the proper bolt ons. You should AT LEAST get a cutout installed.

It doesn't sound like any 224 that's for sure, but there isn't much vibration inside. I just installed mine this last weekend and will have sound clips and dyno numbers soon.

fad2blk, why did you replace the tsp cam you had? Im not famaliar with the MS cams. who sells those? do the pistons need to be notched for valve clearance?

cool car, you should check out the pics of my dads MECHAM on my yahoophoto account.

The MS4 cam is still a TSP cam. I changed because I was getting a set of heads and wanted a good combo. I was tearing apart the motor anyway, so went with the MS4 cam with the LS6 Stg1 heads. The pistons are fine with the stg 1, but need cut for stg2 from what I've read on here.

My best friends wife has a MECHAM TA also.

If you have the resource, look into SD tuning.(speed density) it will make your car feel like a 224 cam idle wise but still have the nasty lope. no more surging, hot starts, etc. drievability comes real clos to stock for a cam that big.

BTW, nice ride you got there.

Might end up getting that, but not sure. I haven't had a chance to drive it around much to see how driveablitly is, but I didn't have any problems with the 233/239 I had in there before either.

Thx for the comment on the car.

Been driving my MS4 + Stage 2.5's for a couple of days, starting off is somewhat of a pain, but otherwise anything above 2k rpms is fun (3.42 rear).

yeah I figured that out MS= magic stick4. duh. so then the stage 2 heads are milled and the stage one heads are not? so if no milling of the heads and stock head gaskets on an 02 and no flycutting? Id like to get the most aggressive cam I can get for an M6 car that doesnt need flycutting.

and, can you get me some pics of your buddy's wife's mecham? Im collecting all the pics I can on mecham cars. thanks

on another note, how did you black out your taillights? I did the same thing to dads car with nightshade paint, wetsanded, polished, clearcoated, wetsanded. and repainted the center filler black. looks like the rest of the cars paint. it looks kickass. were leaving his all black. was goin to do the silver bird, but decided it looks too mean all black.
