Yep, it does, no reason why GM would lie about the lift. Good cam if you have access to a tuner, many state that it has one of the best torque curves they have ever seen.

I am in the market for one.

Not really, look at the LSA and duration. That mother is going to have a good amount of overlap which serves to scavenge a nice lung full of intake charge.

I think I read a Vizard article stating exhaust overlap can give up to 5x more induction pressure (-ve) than the basic intake stroke. Thats going to add to your torque right there.

It was used in conjunction with the Hotcam cam package, which utilized the same spring that was in the 2001 Z06s, the Blue spring, or I should say, the 01 Zs used the hotcam spring

Car has about 65k miles on it. The only code thrown solely from the cam was multiple random misfire, and that's from the nasty idle. Easily taken care of with tuning.....this cam will barely run on the stock tune, but it won't drive. Absolutely have to tune it.

Didn't have any major issues at all, just took time--probably a couple months before I had it where I wanted it. I did have a little trouble with the idle using the MAF, so I now run a closed loop speed density tune. I used HPTuners and just did a little at a time until it was perfect. It's not my daily driver so I didn't rush anything.

Nice thing about that came besides the flat torque curve is, you never have to worry about changing springs. A decent set of springs should easily last 100k or more.

At the time that cam came out, there were no aftermarket cams available yet and it was considered big lift.
