$1399 is BARE, with no valves, springs, retainers, etc.

Read what you quoted from me. That tells you where I got the pricing. Why would you ask where I got it when I just stated where I got it from?

When I called them the site had no prices. So I called and was told $2069 per head. Needless to say I now have no need to get back on their site.

Do you have Bench Flow results for AFR 225 on the same exact setup? I just want to see compared to your RHS Results. Thanks for posting the results for us.

The RHS heads are ETP bare castings with RHS's CNC program. The valve's are 8mm compared to ETP's 5/16" valves. Me & my cousin just put a set of the 225's on his 99' 'vette' with the fast intake and several other goodies. Right now it is a stock short block with 93,000 miles on the motor. So far he has made 445 rwhp and 406 rwtq with one bad coil on cylinder #6. I should have the final number's this week after the final tuning of the ECM.

Great, thanks. Am looking forward to the final results. I know each setup and all shows different results, etc, but if you could post a dyno graph I want to see the HP and torque with rpm range. I am very interested in this. again thanks.

I need to get my scanner situation fixed first but I will have the dyno graph's before mods, the 445 HP dyno sheet(it also has before tuning ECM dyno on it), and the final dyno sheet. I will also include a copy of the flow #'s that I got when I converted the bare heads to 5/16" valve's(RHS uses Rev brand valve's which are not that great of quality). I used the same Ferrea valve's that ETP uses (Before I even knew ETP existed). The valve length is what limit's you to going with the 5/16" valve's vs. staying with the 8mm. Ferrea and Manley both don't have any 8mm valve blanks long enough to be able to go the 5.45" needed for the heads. I would personally just buy the ETP heads and save yourself some money. The heads we are using have the 225 cc intake runner. From 2500 rpm on the egine is makeing more than 300 lbft of TQ at the rear wheels with a cam that is ground for a twin turbo LS2(future short block) putting out 16 lbs of boost. From about 4300 rpm to 5600 rpm the vette is makeing more than 400 lbft of TQ at the rear wheels. My cousin is stationed in Norfolk, VA right now and Ed at Automotive Technologies Inc(757-424-1740) is doing the tuning on the car right now. All of the numbers quoted are SAE corrected, the vette actually made 3% more HP with the weather condition's at the time.
