Default Best Heads and Cam for 383ci on the bottle

I have a 383 that I'm throwing into my camaro, don't want afrs, not to worried about the so called streetability, ive had the trex and it didn't bother me, I want 550rwhp or close to while still being able to run a 150 shot.

550 is a tall order from a 383, but you can get close if you change your mind about AFR's. The Mamo recipe is proven.

Maybe call Thunder Racing. Jason99TA's daily driver 383ci makes over 500 rwhp, and it was built as a daily driver. It has a set of CNC heads, I'm if I'm not mistaken.

I would go etp ETP 225 with a custom grind cammotion that would be stout on the bottle also.Down side is time frame on those heads.I would let cammotion grind you a custom based off how many rpms you wanna spin and what your heads flow.Ive always had good luck with them.

This guy made over 510 RWHP with a stock shortblock LS2 GTO...

Check the pieces used and kick it up a notch, to the 240 ETP heads...

I would go at least ET 225's, and for what your doing the 245's with a big cam.
550 will be tough but with the right combo, good compression and a great tune you should beable to get right at your goals.
