Default NEED HELP!!! motor acting wierd

problem is on a 1999 formula

ive just recently installed a lq9 bored and stroked to a 427, 232/234 comp cam, stage 3 ported heads, moroso deep sump with perma cool relocation kit.
the problem with my car is that it takes a couple of trys to get it started, then when it starts it usually dies. somethime when i try to give it gas it doesnt even do anything while the car is running then it usually dies out again. also my gauges do some crazy thing when i turn my key into the on position, for example it does what the subaru wrxs do when u start (both the speedo and tach go from 0 shoot up to redline or max point then go right back. also my engine temp and oil pressure gauge do not work, they will sometimes move (but hardly ever).
i also checked all fuses and engine control was blown, i replaced it and same thing, i also rechecked it and its fine.

the car did the same thing before the motor swap but what happened was i pulled my stock ls1 out then put it back in.and it did the same thing, i got it running once but then it ould go back and do the same thing. i also swapped my pcm with a 2000 and then swapped it back i dunno if that would effect anything.

is it a pcm problem or something not connected right?
also the obd2 connector isnt working, (after i pulled the dash, dash is still out)

any help would be great, thanx.

well i also have a 99 formy..but havent ran into any of those problems..thank god..i would go and check ALL the wiring and connectors that you can..ALL of them..and hows about a T.U.N.E.? you cant expect that to even contemplate running with out a tune..no way!..and check your sensors too...

That is exactly where I would start! Check all of your grounds! Then the sensors, MAP, IAC, crank position, etc etc...

ok i checked out the grounds and they are good, i replaced the ECT plug now im getting a reading, my oil temp gauge i cant tell if its working incorrectly or not. the car started but if u hold it over 3k rpms it runs fine, anything below it wants to die. also i found out the positive wire for the starter was grounding out on the header, im goin to replace it.

also i took out my a/c stuff but are there vacuum lines i have to block off?

Also check your sensor fuse you may have blown it with everything grounding out and the motor will act up cause of that.
