cold idle = 60 psi
hot 40-45 but mine never go under 40 psi

Are you guys going off the stock gauge in the cluster how accurate is it
stock pump castrol 10w 30w
60 psi coldstart
40 psi 210degrees 700rpm idle

hot idle: 40-45
WOT: 65-70
above 3000rpm when cold: 75-80

My car has 102k, and the motor has never been touched. I run GC 0W30.

Are you guys using the stock oil pressure gauge in the dash, or a aftermarket type such as Autometer? The stock one in my gauge cluster shows about 10-15psi higher than my Autometer one.

After a bit of highway driving when the oil gets real hot it will drop down to 25psi(Autometer gauge), but after I get off the highway it will go back up to about 35psi or so. Thats with 5w30 non synthetic Mobil 1 oil, as I am trying to break the new motor in with crude oil.
