Default isky springs... new paper weight

anyone had trouble with isky springs? mine have less than 3k on them and i broke one coming back from lunch yesturday. luckily, the 2 parts turned into each other, so it didn't drop the valve, but it's still a pain in the ***. the Crane 832 replacements got here this morning, and will be on the car tomorrow....

I had a Isky valve spring break on me about 2 years ago. Did the same thing, turned into itself and "saved" my motor. I currently have Manley Springs from MTI.

Which springs were these and what were the cam specs? Were they the Toolroom beehive springs?
